Happy New Year!
Resolutions are notoriously difficult to keep but thinking seriously about what changes you want to make can still be worthwhile.
If you’re feeling edgy and upset, ineffective and frustrated you’re not alone. Anxiety is increasingly widespread. 2016 uncovered an awful lot of surprises and a great many people are very worried about 2017.
There’s not much we can do about the most powerful man in the world not really being presidential material. There’s not much we can do about the world or the national economy, or international sabre rattling. The term ‘echo-chamber’ has become tedious; of course we want to be around people who think the same way as we do because we’ve suddenly realised how differently from us our neighbours, friends, family and colleagues actually think.
But what do you think, and why? What do you truly believe in?
Change is inevitable. If you don’t influence how you change other people will. It’s entirely possible to get anxiety under control. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t have more command over your own life.
How long will it take? A lot of work can be done in 6 sessions.
If you’re new to counselling come and see what it’s like. I’m offering an initial session for £30 - usually £80 - throughout January. This only happens once a year and availability is limited. Once places are gone, they’re gone.
Call 07717 845 115 to book an appointment.
£30 deposit required by bank transfer when appointment is made. This will be returned to you as soon as our work together ends.
