Groupwork

Whatever our circumstances we are social creatures who need connection and relationship. A well-functioning group positively supports and values personal growth and teaches us about the other groups we’re part of such as friendships, work or volunteering teams, or family.
If you are ready to participate in your own and other peoples growth, to reflect on and share your own feelings with the aim of moving forward then groupwork can be a powerful way of achieving positive growth fairly quickly.
The work can be intense: we will be exploring powerful issues like family patterns, boundaries, giving and receiving, what is acceptable and unacceptable, our values, interdependence and cooperation, conflict and resolution. The group supports and contains these and other processes.
We meet once a week for 2 hours. The group lasts 8 weeks.
One group is mixed sex. One group is women only.
Group size is limited to 10.
The more you commit the more you’re likely to learn.
These are not addiction recovery groups.
Cost
A deposit of £50 secures your place in the group. This will be paid back to you when you leave the group.
I ask participants to pay a minimum of 10% of their gross weekly income per session. This allows people from very diverse backgrounds to meet in a way that is not usually possible.
Where?
In the Ladbroke Grove area close to public transport links.
When
Wednesday, Thursday from 6.30 to 8.30.
