WORKSHOPS FOR COUNSELLORS
Introducing Social Media for Counsellors.
Every other Sunday
9.30 - 11.30 am
There's a lot of confusion about the benefits of social media for counsellors. Some of us think it's unethical full stop; some of us worry about clients finding out about our private lives; we don't know how using social media will increase the number of clients we see, or we fear that our Facebook page will be overrun with clients demanding our attention or unseen people posting obscenities.
This 2 hour workshop is an opportunity to discuss our fears and the reasons you might want to use social media professionally. You'll then learn how to build a solid, engaging Facebook and Twitter presence.
At the end of the two hours you'll get a pdf summary and CPD certificate.
Group size limited to 8.
Cost £30
via Skype

By the end of this two hour workshop participants will have covered:

Beginning with Online Counselling
Every other Sunday 9.30 to 10.30
This 1 hour workshop is an opportunity to discuss why you might want to start offering online counselling. We'll be looking at the BACP guidelines for online work as well as some of the ethical issues associated with this established way of offering support to people who may not usually access face to face therapy.
The first half of the workshop will deal with some of the anxieties that many counsellors have about beginning this kind of work. The second half will be more technically based. Numbers are limited to 5 participants so that we can personalise the work. At the end of the two hours you'll get a pdf summary and CPD certificate.
Group size limited to 5.
Cost £30
