5.0 out of 5 stars Every Community Mental Health facility should recommend this book to new patients - and their families

At last! A book that explains, clearly and simply, what to expect when you are referred for counselling, or just want to refer yourself. This is something that many mental health professionals don't explain and the system can be a bit mind-boggling, especially when you aren't feeling at your most confident. Every Community Mental Health facility should recommend this book to new patients - and their families.
4.0 out of 5 starsQuick light read

I enjoyed this book, it was light, quick and easy to digest.
I would recommend this book to anyone trying to get a good understanding of counselling from both a client and counsellor perspective.

A very clear, easy to read guide to counselling. It answers the questions that you would like to ask, giving you a clear idea of what to expect before you start, so giving you the confidence to go ahead.
5.0 out of 5 starsClear and Concise
By Mrs P Pitchford on 26 April 2016
Very useful book. I've had a bit of counselling before and still found this very helpful. Wish I'd read it sooner.
